You probably didn’t notice, but I haven’t blogged or commented here for 10 months or so (reasons complicated). Well, I’m back and I have just one dumb question: When the Republicans passed a law in Alabama outlawing abortions even in cases of rape or incest, what was in their heads? Aside from the (de)merits of the law, does it not saddle every Republican running for office, anywhere, with the burden of having to explain why they DON’T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT RAPE VICTIMS?
